Hazardous Spill Response Training
This course provides learners with the essential skills to identify, assess, and manage the risks associated with potential spills of dangerous goods. While aligned to the SAQA unit standard 242999, the course is not SETA accredited. On completion, learners will be capable of containing spills, ensuring a safe and effective clean-up process, and completing the required documentation as per organizational procedures.
Course Outcomes
Upon completion, learners will be able to:

2. Confine a spill by following appropriate containment measures to minimize the impact of the spill.
3. Evaluate the spill incident, applying proper procedures for managing and safely cleaning up the spill.
